Indevin Group is a leading winemaking facility with wineries and vineyards in Marlborough, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. We’re a 100% New Zealand owned (and proud of it), fast-growing, dynamic company looking to recruit for our 2020 vintage team.
Typically, our Gisborne and Hawke's Bay vintage start in February and run an intensive fruit receival programme for 4-5 weeks, through to late-March. We then have a less intensive processing phase which continues through to May/August, role dependent.
Our Marlborough vintage generally starts late February/early March and has an intensive fruit receival programme which lasts for 4-5 weeks, through to late April, early May. We then have a less intensive processing phase which continues through to October, role dependent. During our intensive fruit receival programme our staff should expect to work 12-hour shifts, over a six-to-seven day week.
Vintage Cellar Hands
Experience in a fast-paced Winery is an advantage, but attitude, motivation and a willingness to learn are just as important. You must be practical and proactive in your approach to work, physically fit and reliable with a “can do - will do” attitude.
Vintage Laboratory Technicians
Applicants will ideally have a tertiary qualification and chemistry lab experience, although training will be given to successful applicants. The successful applicants will be responsible for grape maturity analysis, sampling and testing ferments, among other analysis consistent with industry best practice in a fast-paced environment.
Successful applicants will need to be physically-fit, able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, plus have a passion for wine and the ability to work well within a team.
Vintage Forklift Operators
Applicants will require:
•Previous forklift experience preferred
•Current OSH & ‘F’ endorsement
•Attention to detail
The vintage forklift role covers a broad range of operations, ranging from barrel operations and fruit receival, to inward/outward goods and general harvest related tasks.
