Milford Sound Lodge

Located in Fiordland National Park, surrounded by nature & wilderness the lodge hosts up to 200 guests each night in either our luxury chalets or our wild campervan park, we also offer local information about the nature or activities in the area, as well as act as a booking service for local operators. Our newly established dining experience has built an excellent reputation, we are busy! Currently undergoing an upgrade and extension to our commercial kitchen and restaurant. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside our Head Chef and team in setting up this new space, contributing to and executing our brand-new Summer 2019-2020 menu.

Chef Team

Passionate chefs working in a fun and fast=-paced environment to create and deliver high quality, locally sourced and Kiwi inspired a la carte breakfast and evening dining.

MUST be excellent at food

Reception Team

Trusted with our guests First Impressions and for facilitating guest connections with our incredible wilderness environment.

MUST be excellent at PEOPLE.

Front of House Professionals

Famous ‘kiwi’ hospitality in our onsite restaurant. From morning to evening service, beautifully presented and deliciously tasty a la carte menus paired with a local wine list and craft beer menu, all served in style with a genuine smile.

MUST know F+B.

Housekeepers

Luxury, remote wilderness lodges come with high expectations, excel at ensuring every detail is perfect.

MUST care about the little things.

*please note that some roles are department specific, others are a mixture, on applying for a role please be enthusiastic to do everything*

The Details

• Applicants must legally work in NZ (sponsorships not offered)

• Accommodated in Milford Sound, onsite at the lodge in a private room with shared facilities

• Roster that allows for adventures…. 10 days on, 4 days off

• Hourly rate and heavily subsidised living expenses
