Vintage Winemaker

Vintage Winemaker in the Nelson region.  Position available from February 2019 until end June 2019 during our harvest period.

We require an Oenology graduate with some experience using vintage and winery equipment to help with our 2019 vintage.  This is a very hands on role and would suit someone who will to muck in and help in all areas of the winery., including grape receival, pressing, lab work, running a cross-flow, monitor and control ferments and keep accurate records, have a forklift licence and experience. this is a full time position during vintage.   Generally we work an 8 hour day, there may be some shift work, and there may be some up to 12 hour days.  You will need a good sense of humour even while working under pressure.
