Vineyard Workers Wanted

We are looking for kiwis who want to try a career in viticulture. 

We currently have casual and contract roles available for our summer work. No experience is needed, all training will be provided on site.

For some of those who do well over the summer we intend offering fulltime permanent roles to next year.

The Role:

The Vineyard Worker position undertakes the manual work required on a vineyard to produce quality grapes for our customers.

Duties will generally relate to the care and maintenance of plants and vineyards, but may include any other duties from time to time.

The summer work starting in November 2020 will generally involve bud rubbing, shoot thinning, wire lifting, fruit thinning, fruit dropping, netting, and then hand harvesting of fruit in 2021.

You will be required to follow our Health and Safety rules at all time.

• Fit and able - the work will at times require physical strength including lifting, bending and significant walking

• Positive attitude

• Being able to take and follow instructions

• Being able to work effectively in a team

• Enjoying working in the outdoors
