Seasonal Berry Picker (Full Time)

Berry Farms NZ currently have multiple roles available for Berry Pickers/ Farm Hands as we head further into our busy harvest season! These are full time fixed term roles for a minimum of 6 weeks, but there is likely to be work until April/ May for the right people.

We have berry farms located in both Bay View and Hastings. The roles will involve picking and packing berries, fruit pick up/ transportation around the farm, and/ or quality control. All our strawberries are grown on table tops which means easy picking and no bending! We also grow raspberries, blackberries and blueberries.

• All our berries are grown in tunnels which means our work is not weather dependent, and you won’t be out working in the sun

• Our harvest season begins in September and ends in May so there is ongoing work. We are a 7 day operation during the peak of the season so there are plenty of hours available

• We pay on contract/ piece rate- the more you pick the more you earn!

• Our picking is not physically demanding, anyone can do it!

• No experience needed, on the job training is provided

• Weekend work is available
