Strawberry Planter - Matakana

The purpose of this role is to insert Strawberry plants into mounds at ground level - planters will be required to bend for long periods of time while performing this task.  This is a fixed term agreement from the 12th of May 2021 to 4th of June 2021.  There is accommodation within walking distance of the farm on Omaha Flats Road.  We are located in Matakana which is 1.5 hours north of Auckland.

You will be required to:

* work 5-6 days per week (rostered).

* Have excellent hand-eye co-ordination.

* The ability to work with others.

* Be able to perform laborious tasks repeatedly (involves bending and kneeling).

* Must be strong enough to lift heavy objects, including tools, crates and plants.

* Be able to work outside in all conditions (wet weather gear will be provided).

* Be flexible as days and hours of work are set around the availability of plants and weather conditions.
