Horticultural Workers and Packhouse Workers

While we are currently in our quiet season we are always on the lookout for workers to join us across various roles. We are a large company with sites across New Zealand so there are always fresh opportunities and many of our other locations (excluding Mokai) have accommodation available.

Gourmet Mokai is located 30kms north west of Taupo.

Working in the Glasshouse: The work isn’t complicated, but it is in a fast-paced environment where focus on quality is a must. You don't need to be experienced for this role but we request all applicants have the flexibility to work extended hours, are comfortable working at heights.

In the Packhouse your responsibilities will include checking and grading the produce as it is packed.

To do this role our ideal candidate will have the following:

The ability and motivation to do physical work

Happy and able to work flexible hours - We may consider Part- Time hours for the right applicant.

Be comfortable standing for a full shift and you will be physically fit enough to safely lift boxes of up to 10kg

Have a good eye for detail

Like to work as part of a team

Experience for these roles is not crucial we just ask that you are reliable and match the above requirements.
