Who we are
Here at the NZ Security Association (NZSA), we assist our security members by finding them suitable candidates to work within their organisations.
We are currently seeking candidates who are new to the industry, those whose employment might be unstable or have lost their jobs due to Covid19.

To work in the industry you need to be/have:
At least 18 years old
A New Zealand permanent resident or citizen
Able to work irregular hours (the industry runs 24/7)
Able to work alone
Reasonable fitness as there maybe some walking involved and you need to be able to stand for long periods of time
Have a clean criminal record
A NZ Drivers license is preferable as well as your own reliable transport
Comfortable and confident speaking to a diverse range of people
Good, clear written and spoken English
You must be able to work at least 30 hours per week. Please do not apply if you can not commit to 30+ hours per week
Benefits and perks
At the NZSA we can help link you to our security members who are well known security companies in NZ. If you can secure FULL TIME work (at least 30 hours per week) with one of them, we can pay for your COA (certificate of approval) security license including your temporary license.
Skills and experience
If you are wanting to help out in your local community and you are comfortable communicating to a diverse range of people, then this might be the job for you. In this current climate we are needing confident people who can adapt quickly to ever changing environments.
