Harvest - Machine Team

Vailima Orchard is a successful, 4th generation family-owned business. With over 200Ha’s of Apple Orchards stretching over the Waimea Plains in Hope. We pride ourselves on growing premium produce which are sold locally as well as export.

Early 2021 we will be seeking hard-working positive people to join our harvest picking team. This is a fixed term role working Monday – Friday 6.30am - 17pm and being available for Saturday work is essential. Flexibility is required around this to align your work hours with work requirements if needed.

This role does start off on a fixed term contract but for the right person that shows the right attitude and work ethic this can quickly turn into a full time position.

Harvest is an exciting time of year where we remove apples from the trees. For this role we are looking for physically fit individuals to work in a team on our Zucal machines.

We will begin picking around WC 8th February and finish around early May 2021. We are looking for people that can commit to working the whole season and will be in Nelson for a face to face interview from Wednesday 27th Jan (First group interview)
