Winter Pruning

Vailima Orchard is a successful, 4th generation family owned business. With over 200Ha’s of Apple Orchards stretching across the Waimea Plains in Hope.

With the change of season, we are currently seeking physically fit people to help with our winter pruning. This is a fixed term contract working Monday – Friday and Saturdays when needed. The contract will start early June 2021 and go through to mid-September 2021. Flexibility is required around this to align work hours with seasonal requirements as needed.

This role is an amazing opportunity for someone that enjoys working outdoors and physically fit as this is a physical job. This role also has the opportunity to progress into a career if you are the right fit for the business.

The successful candidate will require the following skills:

• Can commit to working the whole season.

• Willing attitude to learn.

• Honest

• Reliable with own transport.

• Able to working in team environments.
