Job Description

Cellar Position for Harvest 2021: Located in the heart of the world-renowned Central Otago region our Cromwell based winery focuses on quality wine production for approximately 15 clients across all the Central Otago sub regions. We have a modern well-resourced winery with capacity for 800 tonnes and have been crafting quality cool climate wines since 2005. Varieties include Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Blanc de Noir, Chardonnay, St Laurent and Gewürztraminer. For vintage 2021 we are looking for intelligent, hard working, self motivated, passionate people with a focus on quality to join our small team. The role is varied and includes processing vineyard samples, fork hoist operation, fruit receival and processing, racking, barrel work, yeast inoculations, additions, red ferment cap management, press operation, and cleaning. A minimum of 1 previous vintage experience is preferred and only people eligible to work in this country may apply for this position. Due to border closures, we are only accepting applications from New Zealand residents or international applicants who are currently in New Zealand. Successful applicants will commence mid March/early April (depending on season) through to mid May.
