The Lakeland Queen offers multiple dining cruises, providing a unique and memorable experience. Our daily cruise schedule offers something for everyone, from full meal options including breakfast, lunch or dinner cruises to simply enjoying a coffee or wine cruise. Our cruises are all one hour in duration; perfectly timed to experience the best of the lake. Join us on the Lakeland Queen for a relaxing scenic cruise that is uniquely Rotorua. We are locking for someone with • Experience in PR &/or marketing • Experience in Customer Service • Experience in bar service Create marketing plans, policies and campaigns Promote and develop an organization’s brand, goods Advise on product pricing, advertising and selling Produce marketing content such as advertisements and blog posts Run social media channels Organize events Collect and analyze information such as sales data Arrange market research for products and services Build relationships with clients • Must be a team player • Have the ability to multi-task. • Have the ability to handle a high work load and pressure at times. • Great organization and people skills • Ability to be flexible and quick thinking. • Provide a helpful, friendly customer minded experience at all times. • High standards of presentation in dress and bearing. • An eye for detail within FOH • A good understanding of wines and beverage sales. • Have a great personality, energy and enthusiasm. • Able to thrive “when the pressure is on” • An understanding of local Rotorua history would be an advantage. • Excellent Personal Hygiene • Be available for weekend rosters on a regular basis. • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across a wide range of people particularly those who do not have English as their first language. • Be able to accept and manage change, improvement and new ideas. • Keen to keep learning, displaying an open and positive attitude. • High standard of presentation and person hygiene at all times. • Act honestly, conscientiously, reasonably and in good faith, at all times having regard to his/her responsibilities, the interest of the business and the welfare of colleagues and customers. • Carry out his/her duties in an efficient and competent manner and maintain specified standards of performance If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
