Position Title: Traveller Experience Assistant - Christchurch
Reports to: Christchurch Operations Manager
Purpose: The role of Traveller Experience Assistant supports the wider team as necessary. Key focus will be on high standards with all traveller facing areas of the business. They need to embody the energy that Mad Campers is built on and be endlessly focussed on traveler satisfaction, staying organised and managing a wide range of tasks. They need to communicate effectively within the team.
Location: The role is to be based at Mad Campers office in Christchurch. The employee may be required to travel from time to time.
Availability: Standard 40 hour weeks. Must be available Monday to Sunday as required by assigned roster. Must also be available through peak season (November to March) and some public holidays if required. Available for overtime hours if required.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical and general maintenance on vehicles.
Management of stock levels of extras and parts in Fleet Department.
Support team to ensure vehicles are ready for collection - T/A's, grooming, kitsets, safety, extras, etc.
Greet inbound and outbound travelers; show through vans, manage extras and on road requests. Ensure all information has been collected and travelers leave happy
Manage emails; booking requests, on road requests, traveler queries & complaints as they come through. Response time and clear communication is critical.
Traveler complaints / issues; determine the best path to a satisfactory solution and execute.
Booking system - ensure bookings are entered correctly, payment is managed daily, and maintain fleet efficiency.
Be available to transport travelers as required.
Maintain exceptionally high standards through all aspects of the role.
General tasks as required.
